Facility quarantine sa asymptomatic, mild COVID cases mandatory na – IATF

INOOBLIGA na ng Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) ang mga positibo sa COVID-19 na asymptomatic at mild ang sintomas na ma-quarantine sa mga pasilidad na aprubado ng gobyerno.

Sinabi ni Presidential Spokes- man Harry Roque, nakapaloob ito sa IATF Resolution No. 74 kung saan nakasaad na mandatoy sa asymptomatic at mild cases ang facility-vase quarantine maliban sa mga pasyenteng itinuturing vul- nerable o may comorbidities o maaaring komplikasyon.

Ayon kay Sec. Roque, may ex- ception din kung ang mga Ligtas COVID-19 Centers sa isang rehiyon ay okupado na at walang sapat na isolation facilities ang local government unit (LGU).

“We likewise notify the public that facility-based isolation shall be required for confirmed asymptomatic and mild COVID- 19 cases, except where, as confirmed by the local health officer, the patient is considered vulnerable or having comorbidities and that his/her home meets the conditions specified in the Department of Health and the Department of the Interior and Local Government Joint Administrative Order 2020-0001,” ani Sec.
