NICA ZOSA, kinoronahan bilang ‘Miss Summit International 2022’

MULING nag-uwi ng bagong international beauty title ang Pilipinas.

Nagwagi bilang Miss Summit International 2022 si Nica Zosa noong January 26 sa Las Vegas, Nevada. Tinalo ng ating Philippine representative ang 20 other candidates.

Sa Facebook page ng naturang pageant, ang runners-up ni Zosa ay si Miss USA Kendall Strong (2nd runner-up) at Miss Canada Margaret Rodrigo (1st runner-up).

Dagdag si Zosa sa mga Pinay na nag-uwi ng korona para sa Pilipinas tulad nina Maureen Montagne (Miss Globe), Cinderella Faye Obenita (Miss Intercontinental), Samela Aubrey Godin (Miss Culture International) and Alexandra Faith Garcia (Miss Aura International).

Taga-Cebu rin si Zosa tulad ng mga Cebuana beauties na sina Beatrice Luigi Gomez (Top 5 Miss Universe 2021) at Maureen Tracy Perez (Top 40 Miss World 2021)

AFTER two years ay magbabalik na ang Miss International pageant.

Kinansela ng Miss International ang kanilang yearly pageant noong magkaroon ng global pandemic noong 2020 at 2021. Kelan lang ay in-announce ni Stephen Diaz, spokesman for the said pageant, na tuloy na ulit ang pageant sa last quarter ng taong 2022.

      “Very limited slots for the #60thMissInternational if it’s held in Japan this December. In the meantime, I am still negotiating with other countries who are bidding to host this year’s edition. It is better to have Plan B and Plan C. Miss International must be held this year, no matter what,” tweet ni Diaz.

May 46 confirmed delegates na at kasama rito ang ating magiging Philippine representative na si Hannah Arnold.

      The winner of the 60th Miss International pageant will be crowned by outgoing queen Sireethorn Leearamwat of Thailand, who was crowned in 2019 and has the longest reigning holder of the title.

Sa bansang Japan ginaganap every year ang Miss International, kung ‘di man matuloy sa Japan, may ibang countries naman daw na puwede mag-host ng pageant kaya nag-open sila for bidding.

The Philippines has won the Miss International crown six times: Gemma Cruz (1964), Aurora Pijuan (1970), Mimelanie Marquez (1979), Precious Lara Quiganan (2005), Bea Rose Santiago (2013), and Kylie Verzosa (2016).

Katatapos lang ni Holland ng bagong pelikula titled Uncharted, isang live adaptation ng beloved series of action-adventure games created by Amy Hennig. May premiere na sila sa February 2022.

Samantalang si Zendaya, na may net worth na $15 million, bukod sa kanyang HBO series na Euphoria, siya ang napiling global endorser ng cosmetic brand na Lancome.
