Dating DFA Sec. Romulo, pumanaw na

PUMANAW na si dating ambassador at Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) secretary Roberto ” Bobby” Romulo, araw ng Linggo, Enero 23 sa edad 83.

Kinumpirma ito mismo ng kanyang pamangkin na si Department of Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat.

Si dating DFA Sec. Romulo ay anak ng namayapang statesmans at United Nations General Assembly President Carlos P. Romulo.

Sinasabing, taong 1989 nang pumasok ito sa gobyerno makaraang italagang ambassador sa Belgium, Luxembourg at Commission of the European Communities.

Naging DFA Secretary naman siya noong panahon ni dating Pangulong Fidel V. Ramos.

At naging chairman siya ng iba’t ibang organisasyon kabilang ang AIG Philippines Insurance, PETNET, Inc. MediLinkk Network Inc. at Nationwide Development Corporation (NADECOR). (Daris Jose)
