INAPRUBAHAN ng Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) araw ng Miyerkules, Disyembre 29, 2021, ang rekomendasyon na manatili ang lahat ng lalawigan, highly urbanized cities, at independent component cities sa ilalim ng Alert Level 3 mula Enero 1 hanggang Enero 15, 2022.
Gayundin, ipinalabas ng IATF ang updated country risk classification epektibo Enero 1, 2022 hanggang Enero 15, 2022.
Ang Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia at Spain ay nasa ilalim ng Red List.
Nasa ilalim naman ng Green List ang Bangladesh, Benin, Bhutan, British Virgin Islands, China (Mainland), Cote dā Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Falkland Islands (Malvinas), Fiji, The Gambia, Guinea, Hong Kong (Chinese Special Administrative Region), Indonesia, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Liberia, Montserrat, Oman, Pakistan, Paraguay, Rwanda, Saba (Special Municipality of the Kingdom of the Netherlands), Saint Barthelemy, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Sint Eustatius, Taiwan, Timor-Leste (East Timor), Togo, Uganda at United Arab Emirates.
“All other countries/territories /jurisdictions not mentioned above shall be under the Yellow List,” ayon kay acting Presidential spokesperson at Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles.
Samantala, ang IATF, batay na rin sa naging rekomendasyon ng Department of Foreign Affairs, “approved the acceptance/recognition for purposes of arrival quarantine protocols at maging ang para sa interzonal/intrazonal movement para sa national COVID-19 vaccination certificate ng Armenia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Kuwait, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Thailand, United States of America at Oman.
“This is in addition to such other countries/territories/ jurisdictions whose proofs of vaccination the IATF already approved for recognition in the Philippines, and without prejudice to such other proofs of vaccination approved by the IATF for all inbound travelers,” ani Nograles.
Kaugnay nito, inatasan naman ang Bureau of Quarantine, the Department of Transportation ā One Stop Shop at ang Bureau of Immigration na kilalanin lamang ang mga proofs of vaccination na inaprubahan ng IATF. (Daris Jose)
