NAVOTAS NAGBIGAY NG CASH INCENTIVES SA PUBLIC SCHOOL GRADUATES

NAGBIGAY ang Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Navotas ng cash incentives ngayong taon para sa mga public school graduates.

Nasa 3,495 Grade 6 at 1,270 Grade 12 completers ang nakatanggap ng kanilang P500 at P1,000 cash grants, respectively habang ang graduates ng Navotas Polytechnic College ay nakatanggap din ng P1,500.

“The city government’s budget is tight. We have to focus our resources on our COVID response, but we made sure our graduates will still get their cash incentives,” ani Mayor Toby Tiangco.

“Our youth deserve to receive all the support they can get to succeed in life. We hope this will help them prepare for the incoming school year and encourage them to finish their schooling, even amid the challenges of the pandemic” sabi niya.

Sa 5,616 elementary at senior high school completers, 851 ang hindi nakatanggap ng kanilang incentives. Pinayuhan sila ni Tiangco na hintayin ang announcement ng lungsod sa schedule ng distribution.

Nagsimula ang Navotas sa pamimigay ng graduation incentives noong 2019 alinsunod sa City Ordinance 2019-3. (Richard Mesa)
