Carrasco panauhin sa 2021 Sports Summit

Si Asian Regional Representative at Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) Technical Commission chairman Tom Carrasco ang magiging panauhin bukas ng Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) para sa ika-12 sesyon ng National Sports Summit 2021.

Tatalakayin ni Carrasco, ang pangulo ng Southeast Asian Triathlon (SAT) at Triathlon Association of the Philippines (TRAP), ang ‘Main Support System of a Filipino Elite Athlete’.

“Tom (Carrasco) is one of the fittest to converse on the topic being with the POC for a long time now,” wika ni PSC chairman William ‘Butch’ Ramirez. “This is also a chance for our participants to understand the dynamics behind an elite athlete.”

Ilalahad din ni Carrasco ang papel ng POC sa pagsuporta sa mga elite national athletes katuwang ang PSC.

Sa liderato ni Carrasco ay hinirang ang Philippine triathlon team bilang ‘King and Queen’ sa Southeast Asia.

Dinomina ng mga national triathletes ang tatlong sunod na edisyon ng Southeast Asian Games noong 2015 sa Singapore, 2017 sa Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at noong 2019 na pinamahalaan ng bansa.
