24/7 BI ONE-STOP-SHOP OFFICE, PINASINAYAAN

PINASINAYAAN ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) ang kanilang bagong 24/7 One-stop-shop na tanggapan sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

Ang kanilang bagong tanggapan ay matatagpuan sa ikatlong level, Government Clearing Center ng NAIA Terminal 3  na nagseserbisyo sa mga dayuhang pasahero  na nangangailangan ng visa extension at exit clearances.

Pinangunahan ni  BI Commissioner Norman Tansingco ang seremonya kasama ang ilang opisyal ng BI, Department of Justice, at Manila International Airport Authority.

“Upon my assumption in office we immediately assessed where we are and what needed to be done,” ayon kay  Tansingco.  “The creation of this office to cater to those who would need urgent immigration documents was seen as a solution to improve our services,” dagdag pa nito.

Nilinaw ni  Tansingco na ang nasabing tanggapan ay para lamang ito sa mga dayuhang pasahero na nangangailangan ng immigration documents. Ang ibang mga dayuhan ay pinapayuhan na bumisita sa halos 60 mga tanggapan nationwide.

“We heed the directive of the President and the Secretary of Justice to ensure that services are fast, efficient, and accessible to the public,” ayon kay Tansingco. (Gene Adsuara)
