Joji Alonso sa pagsasampa ng kaso na ayon sa kanya ay hindi libel case.“It is a case for cybercrime under Section 4B and 6 of RA 10175 or the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 in conjunction with unjust vexation under Article 287 of the RPC,” pahayag ni Atty. Joji.“This emanated from the splicing of a 25-minute video of the BINI members, trying and rating Filipino street food. The uploaded spliced version was cut to 2-minutes and only showed only their negative reactions, completely changing the show’s narrative.“This fueled online hate and bashing against BINI. This even escalated to personal attacks, name-calling, and grave insults. The malicious splicing of the video unjustly threw them in a bad light, causing irreparable emotional and mental distress.“It must be remembered that freedom to post online is not an absolute right, and must be accompanied by truth, accountability and responsibility. Right to free speech ends when it starts to malign reputations or cause harm and damage upon others.”Dagdag paliwanag pa ng celebrity attorney, “BINI is taking a strong stance against this digital form of abuse which is prevalent. Literally anyone may fall victim. In filing this case, BINI stands as a voice in fighting for all those who remain unheard.”Kapag napatunayan ang kinakasuhang personalidad, maaari itong maparusahan ng pagkakulong hanggang anim na taon.“Penalty is here is not that small, ha. It’s prision mayor, which is imprisonment of six years and a day to twelve years.“And on top of that I’d just like to add, we also are asking damages in the amount of P1 million for each girl,” sambit pa ni Atty. Joji.(ROHN ROMULO)
THERE is a possibilities of seeing Robert Pattinson’s Batman meeting David Corenswet’s Superman in the DC Universe get addressed by one of the key creatives from the 2025 film.
Following the Superman ending, the Man of Steel’s latest cinematic journey has just begun, with DC Studios already working on bringing Krypton’s last son back to the DCU.
Time will tell what other DC characters David Corenswet’s hero will cross paths with after the Superman post-credits scenes, as there are plenty of options for him in the franchise. One of the most famous ones that fans are looking forward to seeing Superman with is Batman, while some are specifically wanting Pattinson’s version to be the one to team up with Corenswet.
ScreenRant’s own Joe Deckelmeier recently interviewed Wētā’s Guy Williams, who worked on Superman as a VFX supervisor, about the making of the DCU installment. When Williams was asked if he could ever see Pattinson’s Batman fitting into the same world as the DCU’s Superman from a visual aesthetic standpoint, he shared the following:
Guy Williams: That is a hell of a good question. I would say yes. You’ve got to understand, directors are some of the most amazing creative people in the world. Their job is to figure out how to take a concept that barely holds in your brain and turn it into a two-hour story that you can see. So, I guarantee you that there’s a handful of directors out there that could figure out how to tie those two together and make it work. It’s like saying, “Do you think that Rogue One Star Wars fits into the universe of the original Star Wars?” Because Rogue One was a lot darker than the original Star Wars trilogy.
There’s a certain assumption that cinematography is the emotion that the viewer feels when they’re watching a film as aprivileged voyeur, for lack of a better term. And if I watch dogs running on a beach, and then I watch war, my brain sees those different ways. So to say that just because one’s sunny and one’s dark doesn’t mean that dogs exist in a different world and can never be on a beach.
There are movies that do that all the time, where you have a horrific movie and, all of a sudden, the guy looks out to the water and sees a moment of beauty, and it reminds him that the world’s [beautiful.] I totally see that you could tie those two together.
Pattinson is set to reprise the role of the Caped Crusader in 2027’s The Batman 2, with Matt Reeves back to direct the latest installment. As of right now, The Batman 2 filmingis set to begin in 2026, with a handful of actors from 2022’s The Batman returning for the sequel. (Source: screenrant.com)
