100% face-to-face classes tiyaking ligtas

IPINATITIYAK ni Assistant Minority Leader at ACT Teachers Rep. France Castro ang ligtas na pag­ba­balik­ eskuwela ng milyun-milyong estudyante kaugnay ng plano ng Deparment of Education (DepED) na 100% face-to-face classes sa School Year 2022-2023.

“We welcome this push from the Department of Education for the 100% face-to-face classes by SY 2022-2023. This is actually long overdue. Our pupils have endured two years of blended distance learning­ which further worsens the education crisis in the country,” ani Castro.

“Face-to-face classes are still the best way for pupils to gain access to quality education,” giit pa ng lady solon.

Ayon sa gurong mambabatas, dapat siguruhin ng DepEd na ang lahat ng mga pasilidad ng mga eskuwelahan ay handa na at sapat para sa ligtas na pagbubukas ng klase. Kabilang ang maayos na bentilasyon sa mga klasrum, air filtration washing, pasilidad ng sani­tasyon.

Dapat din aniyang pabilisin ang vaccination programs sa mga guro at estudyante, pagkakaloob ng lingguhang COVID testing sa mga guro at education support personnel para sa mga lalahok sa face-to-face classes.

Iginiit din ni Castro ang mass hiring para sa mga school nurses at bigyan ng pondo para sa pagpapa­gamot ang mga mai-infect ng virus.
